Italy-Venice

After Ian met me in Spain we took a plane to Venice, Italy. I was beyond excited about this for many, but the main one was this was going to be the first time Ian and I have traveled alone together. When we got to Venice I was on such a high from the fact of even being there. I’ve seen so many photos of Venice that I couldn’t wait to see it with my own two eyes. When we landed we had to take a little boat to where our Airbnb was. It was amazing to see all the boats and different islands put together by the little bridges.

When we got to our Airbnb we saw there was a little cafe across from us. We could really use a cappuccino or expresso after waking up super early and traveling for a couple hours. We got to put our stuff down and walk right over the cutest cafe. They had freshly made pastries that you could smell from outside. We sat for a second to relax and drink our coffee.

Once we were done we started walking around, a lot. We got to see all the cool walkways with bridges connecting them. We were just in shock with how many people were there walking around. Venice was the coolest island. I definitely would need to go back. Still, feel like we didn’t see as much as we wanted to.

From Venice, we took a train to Rome. We get to the train station and saw our train was 2 hours delayed. So we decided to leave and find gelato. We were just wondering around and found this hole in the wall gelato place that was the best we have ever had. I wish we wrote the name down because if I ever go back to Venice I would love to find it and eat every flavor.

Next stop, Rome!
