Staying on a diet or having to exercise while on vacation can be a really big bummer. Who wants to have to watch what they eat while traveling. But I will admit that I have had those days where I thought should I really eat another pastry? But I always say yes! I believe that if you are doing a lot of walking like I do when I am on vacation there is no problem eating wherever you want.
I always make sure I am still getting my veggies and fruit in when I can that way I know if I am eating a lot of heavy food dish I still won’t feel like total crap at the end of the day.
It’s very important that you walk or get some kind of exercise while you are away just to stay as healthy as possible. I know for me we try to walk everywhere to save money and to get our steps in. When we were in Croatia we walked over 100 miles during our whole trip. When I got home it felt nice to not have to walk everywhere, it was getting kind of a lot after a while.
